This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the subject matter expert for numerous outbound files with varying layouts and formats.
• Conduct a thorough analysis of vendor file layouts on a field-by-field basis to identify vendor and client data requirements.
• Engage with vendors and clients to clarify specifications and maintain effective communication.
• Develop comprehensive business requirements.
• Collaborate with programmers to ensure clarity regarding file specifications.
• Formulate test plans and testing scenarios based on criteria set by clients and vendors.
• Examine test files on a field-by-field basis and document the results of the testing process.
• Work alongside programmers to troubleshoot issues and achieve desired outcomes.
• Monitor progress and ensure adherence to deadlines.
• Obtain final user approval prior to the deployment of files to production.
• Conduct reviews and audits of initial production files to ensure accuracy during turnover.
• Independently construct and execute SQL queries using NextStepp and compare data files.
• Investigate questions and issues, devise solutions, provide explanations, or request programming modifications.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and customers.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 4 years of prior experience in the insurance or TPA industry in a technical capacity, focusing on EDI files and/or the analysis and testing of electronic data files.
• Familiarity with EDI terminology and file structures.
• Capability to read, comprehend, and interpret file specifications.
• Experience with SQL and comparison tools such as UltraEdit.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical abilities.
• Skill in identifying solutions and resolving issues with minimal oversight.
• Ability to work effectively with team members, other areas of Luminare Health, and external vendors.
• Strong organizational skills and the capacity to prioritize tasks in a frequently interrupted setting.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Excellent written, verbal, collaborative, and interpersonal communication skills.
