• Direct and oversee the planning and implementation of outside plant break/fix initiatives from start to finish.
• Create comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets as necessary.
• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, construction, design) and external partners (clients, vendors, contractors) to ensure SLA targets are achieved.
• Supervise OSP operations, including fiber installation, splicing coordination, make-ready assistance, restoration, and ongoing maintenance.
• Ensure that all work complies with construction blueprints, permits, and engineering standards.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring that expenses are monitored and projects are completed on schedule and within scope.
• Establish, track, and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for deliverables and supporting workflows to evaluate operational performance, while identifying and assessing opportunities for enhancing process efficiencies and outcomes.
• Allocate resources efficiently to fulfill project needs, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Recognize potential project risks and formulate mitigation plans to prevent delays or budget excesses.
• Maintain open and ongoing communication with all stakeholders, including clients, upper management, project teams, and vendors.
• Must possess a working knowledge of structured cabling and routing.
• Proficiency in email, MS Excel, Word, and Google Earth is required.
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale OSP projects, encompassing fiber optic and cable installations.
• Capability to effectively manage budgets, timelines, and resources.
• Must be able to interpret and comprehend construction documents.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to adapt to changing project circumstances.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, quality control, and construction standards relevant to OSP projects.
• Ability to successfully pass an MVR check and operate a company vehicle in accordance with Fleet Policy.
