Oracle Retail Developer, PL/SQL, UNIX

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle Retail applications.

• Design, develop, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.

• Provide application support, conduct defect analysis, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.

• Create and maintain UNIX shell scripts for automation and batch processing.

• Analyze business and technical requirements and convert them into efficient technical solutions.

• Support batch jobs, interfaces, and data integrations.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards and best practices.

• Collaborate closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and project managers.

• Engage in unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Over 5 years of experience in Oracle Retail application development.

• Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL development.

• Solid UNIX/Linux administration and shell scripting capabilities.

• Experience in crafting complex SQL queries and performance tuning.

• Familiarity with Oracle database design and optimization.

• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting abilities.

• Experience with batch processing and file-based integrations.

• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
