Oracle EBS Payroll & Benefits Technical Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design and tailor Oracle EBS Payroll & Benefits solutions through programming and configuration, concentrating on aspects such as earnings, deductions, tax calculations, and cost structures.

• Develop and sustain RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) within the payroll & benefits module to fulfill business and regulatory requirements.

• Execute development tasks utilizing SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle EBS APIs tailored to Payroll & Benefits functionalities.

• Create, construct, and oversee interfaces between Oracle EBS Payroll and other HR, Financial, and external systems, guaranteeing smooth data transfer.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to establish integration points and address interface-related challenges.

• Troubleshoot technical issues in Payroll & Benefits, encompassing performance optimization, data inconsistencies, and calculation mistakes.

• Develop and implement test scripts for Payroll & Benefits configurations and customizations, ensuring solid integration and precise calculations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of technical experience with Oracle EBS, including a minimum of 5 years concentrated on EBS Payroll & Benefits development, especially for the US market.

• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle EBS APIs specific to Payroll and Benefits.

• Practical experience in developing RICE components, particularly for Payroll & Benefits functionalities.

• In-depth knowledge of Oracle Workflow, Oracle Forms, and XML Publisher for generating reports.

• Familiarity with Payroll & Benefits-related interfaces and integration tools.

• Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, data mapping, and ETL tools for integration.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities within a technical Payroll context.

• Capacity to collaborate closely with functional teams, effectively translating technical solutions.
