Oracle Cloud Technical Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Oracle technical component of Nuvei's UFS Reimagined initiative within Global Finance.

• Establish Oracle technical benchmarks and act as the technical expert for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and EPM.

• Evaluate and authorize integration architecture and designs provided by systems integrators.

• Specify connectivity, identity, environment, security, and configuration requirements throughout the Oracle ecosystem.

• Lead architecture and security approval processes for Oracle connections to Kyriba and Sovos.

• Manage the Oracle Integration Cloud posting pathway from the Azure and Snowflake business rules platform to the Oracle general ledger.

• Define and uphold standards for orchestration, scheduling, retries, error management, logging, monitoring, and alerting.

• Conduct architecture checkpoints during development and testing phases and approve technical transitions into production.

• Generate evidence related to architecture, cybersecurity, privacy, and third-party risks, including diagrams, control assessments, test outcomes, and remediation statuses.

• Validate environment topology, segregation, capacity, availability, performance, scalability, deployment routes, and separation of duties.

• Represent Nuvei in the selection and onboarding of the application managed support partner.

• Oversee Nuvei's internal share of the hybrid support model and facilitate knowledge transfer to Global Finance and the support partner.

• Manage hypercare and steady-state support, particularly during month-end and year-end critical periods.

• Define proactive operational monitoring, thresholds, observability, alert routing, dashboards, and runbooks.

• Oversee the Oracle Fusion Cloud environment landscape, refresh planning, quarterly update preparedness, and regression coverage.

• Manage the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure tenancy, including compartments, identity domains, policies, networking, service limits, costs, and service health.

• Establish technical standards for Fusion security and review modifications against these standards.

• Evaluate non-functional requirements and approve final technical documentation and handover.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of ten years of hands-on Oracle technical experience, including multiple full Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation lifecycles from requirements gathering to cutover and hypercare.

• Proven accountability in architecture on an Oracle Fusion Cloud program, including ownership of integration architecture, technical standards, and design approval across a partner-delivered build.

• Extensive, up-to-date experience with Oracle Integration Cloud, including orchestrations, adapters, mappings, fault handling, scheduling, and reviewing designs created by others.

• Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud integration surfaces, including REST and SOAP web services, the ERP Integration Service, file-based data import, and business events.

• Practical experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure covering identity and access management, compartments, policies, networking, and service limits.

• Experience navigating an Oracle ecosystem through enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and third-party risk clearance, including evidence packs, conditions, compensating controls, and formal approvals.

• Experience integrating Oracle Fusion Cloud with third-party SaaS platforms hosted externally, including connectivity, certificate, and identity design.

• Working knowledge of Azure and Snowflake adequate to design and ensure the interface between a rules-based subledger and Oracle general ledger.

• Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL, with reporting expertise in BI Publisher and OTBI.

• Experience transitioning a newly implemented Oracle ecosystem into a managed support model, including hybrid arrangements between an internal team and a support partner.

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively and collaborate with finance leadership, partner technical teams, and system owners.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
