Oracle Cloud HCM Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as an expert resource for Oracle Cloud HCM applications, offering guidance and assistance to the project team.

• Oversee and manage Oracle Cloud HCM implementation projects from start to finish, ensuring that project goals are achieved on schedule and within budget.

• Develop and execute project plans for the implementation of Oracle Cloud software.

• Collaborate with COE Leads to determine staffing requirements for the project and make adjustments as necessary throughout the project's duration.

• Handle project risks, actions, issues, and decisions, driving completion by the team.

• Create and implement risk mitigation strategies to reduce project risk.

• Lead and manage one or multiple projects concurrently, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). Develop a comprehensive project plan that includes timelines, resource allocation, and key dependencies.

• Maintain and oversee a Project Budget Tracker/Burn Sheet to ensure the budget does not exceed the allocated amount.

• Formulate project teams, delegate tasks, and manage resources while promoting collaboration and communication among team members.

• Identify potential risks and create strategies for mitigation. Monitor and manage these risks throughout the project lifecycle.

• Maintain transparent and regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, challenges, and accomplishments.

• Ensure project deliverables align with the required quality standards and implement quality control measures.

• Prepare and deliver project status reports to senior management and stakeholders, emphasizing key milestones, issues, and risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• MBA or a relevant master’s degree is preferred.

• 5 to 10 years of experience in project management.

• Must possess a thorough understanding of Oracle Cloud HCM applications, including Core HR, Talent Management, Payroll, Benefits, and/or Time & Labor modules implementation methodology and the challenges typically encountered by clients and implementation teams.

• Hands-on Project Management experience throughout the full lifecycle of Oracle Cloud implementations.

• Experience overseeing project activities for a team of consultants and other implementation specialists who engage with the client organization during the Oracle Cloud implementation.

• Self-driven with a demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning to stay informed about trends and Oracle Cloud updates.

• Proven track record of managing complex projects involving cross-functional teams.

• Experience in software development, IT, or technology-related projects is advantageous.

• Proficient in project risk assessment and mitigation techniques.

• Experience in executing quality reviews and implementing corrective measures.

• Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, Asana, Trello, etc.

• Previous experience in software implementation consulting with Oracle HCM applications.
