This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Promote and sell Clinical Diagnostic instruments, including OCTs, retinal cameras, topographers, refraction systems, and Topcon’s Harmony Healthcare Digital Management System.
• Create an annual business plan that will be reviewed and potentially updated on a quarterly basis.
• Responsible for efficient territory planning and conducting regular activities to maximize time efficiency in prospecting and nurturing new accounts, enhancing existing accounts, securing orders, and generating sufficient sales volume to meet set sales objectives.
• Effectively liaise with sales management and various departments within Topcon (Customer Service, Product Service, Marketing, Finance, etc.) regarding competitive matters, territory concerns, order statuses, and complaints, adhering to the Topcon QMS processes.
• Conduct weekly instrument demonstrations, customizing presentations and materials to meet specific customer needs and requirements.
• Serve as a consultant, source of information, problem solver, and educator to maintain ongoing relationships with customers.
• Keep high-quality account profiles updated in our CRM system (ongoing).
• Undertake special projects or responsibilities for personal development, self-improvement, and/or benefit to the company.
• Collaborate closely with Topcon sales and marketing teams to identify and seize opportunities collectively, while promoting Topcon Healthcare.
• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Prior experience in selling capital equipment to ophthalmology practices, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), hospital systems, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), government entities, and national accounts is preferred.
• Business-to-Business Sales experience showcasing a thorough understanding of the sales process and ethical business practices.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience engaging C-level contacts and demonstrating strategic selling skills.
• Proven track record of exceptional performance in previous sales roles.
• A solid understanding of health insurance and payers is strongly preferred.
• Excellent presentation skills, business acumen, and leadership qualities.
• A strong understanding of sales metrics, performance measurements, and technical indicators.
• Comprehensive aptitude for analysis and strategic planning.
• Outstanding interpersonal and client relationship skills.
• Proficient in negotiation, conflict resolution, and presentation skills.
• Creative and dynamic problem-solving capabilities.
• A strong client-oriented mindset.
• Candidates must reside in Tennessee.
