This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Guyana.
• Conduct post-hire return inspections, testing, and recertification of offshore containers and lifting sets as a qualified individual.
• Perform preventative maintenance on CCUs to ensure asset functionality and appearance.
• Assist CCM by achieving fleet availability objectives.
• Conduct cycle counts of fleet and consumable stock levels.
• Coordinate with vendors to prioritize asset repairs and refurbishment based on planned goals.
• Inspect assets upon their return from hire.
• Carry out 12-month visual inspection certification for CCUs and slings.
• Execute 6-month sling inspections and apply colour coding.
• Document defects and fleet ratings in the Taghub system.
• Lubricate hinges and lashing points.
• Prepare and touch up exposed metal surfaces.
• Replace asset decals as needed.
• Remove damaged slings and shackles from CCUs and install replacements.
• Conduct quality control checks on assets returned from repair or refurbishment.
• Complete asset dispatch checklists.
• Strong work ethic.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Good physical fitness; the role is labour-intensive.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Competent level of literacy and numeracy.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer use.
