This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Implement and uphold operational and maintenance standard operating procedures (SOPs) throughout the charging network.
• Enhance operational workflows based on insights gathered from the field.
• Oversee daily interactions with technical service providers and third-party contractors.
• Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLA) and contracts, aiming for over 99% network uptime.
• Monitor contractor performance in relation to key performance indicators (KPIs) and service quality standards.
• Analyze operations and maintenance (O&M) costs, supervise technical expenditures, report any discrepancies, and manage maintenance invoicing.
• Validate technical expenses associated with electricity usage.
• Supervise and carry out the commissioning of new AC and DC fast and ultra-fast charging stations.
• Confirm compliance of electrical installations and set up initial communications.
• Diagnose hardware, communication, and software failures at Level 2/3.
• Assist external maintenance providers with intricate diagnostics.
• Offer Level 2 technical support to the Call Center and troubleshoot user issues.
• Oversee the quality of external preventive and corrective maintenance services.
• Conduct essential preventive maintenance and urgent or specialized corrective interventions.
• Utilize CSMS and OCPP for remote diagnostic communication, network management, and firmware updates.
• Monitor installations and repairs with contractors and suppliers.
• Guarantee compliance with technical specifications and French regulations, including IRVE and NF C 15-100.
• Generate and maintain technical documentation, intervention reports, and SOPs.
• Fluent professional English (C1/C2) — mandatory.
• Proficient in French (B2/C1 or higher) — mandatory.
• Intermediate Spanish (B1 or higher) — highly valued.
• At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in maintenance, operational management, and diagnosing electrical/telecommunication equipment.
• Preference given to candidates with experience in the e-mobility sector.
• Strong advantage for those with experience managing a large charging-point network.
• Technical degree (BTS, BUT/DUT) or engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or a related field.
• Capability to interpret electrical schematics and single-line diagrams for both high- and low-voltage installations.
• Theoretical and practical understanding of AC and DC EV chargers.
• Familiarity with OCPP for remote management is desirable.
• Ability to diagnose Ethernet and 4G/LTE network and communication issues on embedded hardware.
• Possession of French electrical safety authorizations (habilitations électriques).
• Capacity to work independently in remote locations.
• Strict compliance with electrical safety standards and company policies.
• Proven track record of managing vendors, contractors, and project timelines.
• Knowledge of technical expenditure control and monitoring.
• Experience with CMMS is highly valued.
• Future on-call periods will be compensated.
