Operations Specialist, Cash Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute domestic and international wire transfers, ACH transactions, check disbursements, and journal entries in compliance with Apex policies and within designated processing timeframes.

• Assess and verify Letters of Authorization (LOAs) for journals and disbursements under the supervision of senior team members.

• Detect transaction discrepancies and escalate issues to management as necessary.

• Collaborate with various departments (e.g., AML, Legal, and Risk teams) to address payment exceptions within stipulated deadlines.

• Adhere consistently to Apex Cash Management Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and disbursement policies for all transactions.

• Conduct a self-review of your work prior to submission; engage in team quality review processes as instructed.

• Support the timely completion of supervisory checklist items, ensuring that all necessary tasks, approvals, and sign-offs are accurately documented.

• Address routine and ad hoc requests from clients and internal teams promptly and professionally.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline; or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 1 year of experience in financial services operations; experience in cash management, wire processing, or disbursements is preferred.

• Proven ability to accurately process routine cash movement transaction types under supervision.

• Achieve a passing score on the Securities Industry Essentials® (SIE®) Exam within your first 90 days.

• Willingness to work U.S. hours (night shift) in a remote setting.

• Experience at a broker-dealer, clearing firm, or custodian is preferred.

• Familiarity with Apex Clearing systems or similar back-office platforms is preferred.

• Proficiency in Excel and operational reporting tools is preferred.
