Operations Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee LIMS projects across various laboratory sites, liaising with internal teams and external vendors.

• Create and sustain executive dashboards, KPI reports, and data analytics tools.

• Spearhead the implementation of new technologies with designated teams.

• Serve as a LIMS super-user by offering guidance, training, and occasional remote assistance to laboratories.

• Work collaboratively with leadership to propose process enhancements and aid in system upgrades.

• Keep project timelines, monitor milestones, and ensure accountability among implementation teams.

• Provide support to laboratories during staffing shortages or system transitions to maintain operational continuity.

• Engage in strategic conversations regarding future technology requirements and operational efficiencies.

• Offer strategic support to executive operations and assist with special projects.

• Travel as necessary for system implementations, training sessions, and support.

• Occasionally work outside standard business hours during critical rollouts or emergencies.


⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma with two years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree.

• Fundamental knowledge of laboratory principles, terminology, practices, techniques, and instrumentation.

• Capability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and urgent requests.

• Proficiency in computer skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Documented experience as a LIMS super-user or in implementing laboratory systems.

• Robust project management abilities and experience leading cross-functional projects.

• Familiarity with BI/dashboard platforms and data analytics tools.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently, juggle multiple priorities, and adapt in dynamic environments.

• Dependability, reliability, and a proactive mindset towards technology and processes.

• Candidates selected for hire must successfully pass a drug test prior to starting work.

• Willingness to travel as needed for implementations, training, and support.

• Accessible, secure space for remote work.

• Capability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

• Preferred: experience in laboratory operations or similar technical environments.

• Preferred: knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in laboratory contexts.
