Operations Program Manager, Tax

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and enhance efficient execution mechanisms that track program status, communicate progress, highlight execution risks, and escalate blockers.

• Collaborate with Ops, Tax Operations, Product, and Engineering leaders to enhance cross-functional planning, alignment, and execution of strategic initiatives.

• Identify execution challenges, process gaps, and breakdowns, and propose scalable improvements.

• Establish metrics and reporting systems to provide visibility into execution health and support data-driven decision making.

• Facilitate cross-functional reviews, planning sessions, and execution forums.

• Oversee initiatives throughout their rollout, assess outcomes, and drive follow-up improvements or remediation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of proven experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives from ambiguity to execution.

• Capability to identify friction points and design scalable improvements that yield measurable results.

• Strong structured problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.

• Competence in investigating issues, identifying root causes, and designing scalable solutions.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to influence stakeholders and foster alignment without direct authority.

• Experience in designing or enhancing operational processes, governance, or execution mechanisms that boost organizational effectiveness.

• Preferred: experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.

• Preferred: experience in establishing operating rhythms, planning processes, or organizational governance.

• Preferred: experience in a rapidly growing SaaS, fintech, or operationally complex environment.

• Preferred: familiarity with operational readiness, launch management, or change management practices.

• Preferred: experience utilizing operational metrics to assess execution health and promote continuous improvement.

• Preferred: experience with AI, automation, or workflow tools.

• Preferred: Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or systems thinking experience.
