Operations Professional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Ensuring adherence to the Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) procedures.

• Overseeing and managing rig site operations from a remote hub location.

• Implementing the operational strategy in alignment with the contractual terms and conditions.

• Conducting all real-time job monitoring activities to support the on-site drilling operations.

• Relaying essential information to the customer, rig site team, and other stakeholders as necessary.

• Collaborating with your team to identify suitable actions, drawing from experience, standard principles, concepts, and techniques.

• Taking responsibility for the operational condition of field equipment at the well site from a distance.

• Developing service deliverables in accordance with standard operating procedures, internal management systems, or customer-approved methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A STEM degree or equivalent experience — an associate or bachelor’s degree (or equivalent global degree) in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field, along with a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant industry experience.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• A methodical approach to problem-solving, with a focus on motivation and achieving results.

• Proficiency in industrial monitoring software — capable of navigating vibration and condition monitoring platforms (e.g., System 1, PI, OSIsoft, or similar).

• Data interpretation skills — adept at reviewing trend plots, alarms, and basic vibration signatures, with the ability to escalate any anomalies.

• Experience with remote operations tools — comfortable using remote desktop tools, VPNs, ticketing systems, and digital collaboration platforms.

• Fundamental networking/computer literacy — understanding of file systems, data transfer, and secure access protocols.

• Willingness to work the necessary scheduled hours (12-hour shifts) and rotate between days and nights as required (2 on, 1 off schedule).
