This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take ownership of the overall program performance, including financial health, delivery success, and client satisfaction.
• Act as the primary contact and escalation point for operational and client-related challenges.
• Facilitate regular client sync meetings and conduct on-site or virtual business reviews.
• Manage weekly status updates, dashboards, and progress reviews for both internal leadership and client stakeholders.
• Lead and develop project teams, taking direct responsibility for people management.
• Collaborate with Legal and Liability to ensure that collection activities adhere to compliance, safety, and insurance standards.
• Define the hiring strategy and job profiles for collectors across full-time, part-time, and crowd-based staffing models.
• Guide execution strategies for staffing, vendors, equipment, and day-to-day operations.
• Direct Project Managers to ensure that timelines, budgets, and milestones are achieved.
• Assist with facility sourcing, setup, and readiness for onsite data collection.
• Oversee logistics for collection sites in the field.
• Manage procurement strategies for both equipment and staffing.
• Support the launch of new workstreams and integrate contributions from third parties.
• Identify and mitigate delivery risks, proposing contingency plans for quality and yield concerns.
• Align Operations, Talent Acquisition, Legal, Finance, Quality, and vendors under a unified delivery plan.
• Translate client needs into staffing plans, timelines, budgets, and field execution standards.
• Ensure execution aligns with financial expectations while promoting stakeholder accountability.
• Contribute to strategic planning and expand the data collection delivery model to new accounts and programs.
• 3–5+ years of experience in managing global or large-scale onsite/field operations programs in data collection, user research, clinical research, machine learning, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams across Operations, Talent Acquisition, Legal, and Finance.
• Prior experience in client-facing program or account management is essential.
• Familiarity with PRINCE2, PMI, or similar program/project management methodologies is preferred.
• Ability to convert complex client and technical requirements into scalable delivery models.
• Strong financial acumen, including forecasting, P&L management, invoicing, and budget accountability.
• Capability to manage high-risk, high-volume onsite and in-the-wild environments, taking safety and compliance into account.
• Proficiency in fostering cross-functional alignment across Operations, Talent Acquisition, Legal, Finance, and Quality.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and a customer-centric approach.
• A structured, results-driven method to planning, monitoring, and control.
• Ability to handle escalations and implement contingency plans effectively.
• Comfortable presenting performance metrics, financial data, and risk assessments to client and internal leadership audiences.
• Annual Performance Bonus of up to 10%.
