Operations Manager – Online Business Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily operations and steer priorities from concept to execution.

• Develop a thorough understanding of the founder's business, tools, standards, and decision-making processes.

• Recognize inefficient, manual, or repetitive processes and implement lasting improvements.

• Create standard operating procedures (SOPs), systems, AI workflows, and automations to minimize manual tasks.

• Manage projects, personnel, vendors, timelines, and critical deliverables.

• Monitor operational effectiveness and leverage metrics to uncover opportunities for enhancement.

• Make informed decisions autonomously and escalate issues when necessary.

• Keep the founder updated without requiring reminders for progress reports.

• Consistently seek out opportunities to optimize time, lower costs, and enhance operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager, Online Business Manager (OBM), or in a comparable high-ownership operations position.

• Background in dynamic, founder-led organizations where structure may be lacking.

• Strong operational acumen with the capability to transform ambiguous challenges into actionable plans.

• Demonstrated history of enhancing processes instead of merely maintaining them.

• High level of ownership and commitment to follow-through.

• Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.

• Confidence in working independently in a fully remote setting.

• Interest in AI and a genuine motivation to apply it to real-world tasks.

• Openness to learning, experimenting, and creating with AI; expertise in AI is not a prerequisite.

• A dependable remote work setup that meets the role's operational requirements.

• Familiarity with tools such as Zapier, Make, AI agents, dashboards, SOPs, or internal automation is beneficial but not mandatory.
