This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Manages and oversees all facets of designated medical practices and operations, including the creation and enforcement of policies and procedures.
• Plans, executes, and assesses the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of programs and services.
• Takes on all administrative and supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Director.
• Collaborates directly with Epic Support to ensure efficient EMR management, optimize systems when necessary, and communicates all changes to managers and staff.
• Fosters a working relationship with specific Baptist Hospital specialist groups.
• Possesses knowledge of third-party payer contracts and their impact on practice operations and financial performance.
• Works alongside leadership and BHMG Finance to develop the annual budget and manages practice budgets according to approved guidelines.
• Actively reviews and formulates action plans aimed at enhancing financial performance.
• Assists the Director of Operations in the planning and execution of future operations, including business plan development, executive summaries, and market analysis.
• Engages in monthly Practice Operations meetings with providers and practice managers.
• Serves as a liaison to Baptist Health’s Human Resources department.
• Provides recommendations regarding staffing levels, the educational and experiential qualifications of staff, and oversees personnel.
• Manages and supports strategic initiatives for system utilization and referral management, along with objective reporting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field.
• Over 3 years of experience in medical practice management, with an additional 5 years required in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Familiarity with medical practice software.
• Basic understanding of financial systems such as budgets, income statements, and accounts receivable.
• Proven focus on customer service and outcomes.
• Regular travel among practice locations is required.
