Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of product configuration in production, which includes managing active features, available assets, operational parameters, and limits.

• Oversee deployments and releases, ensuring operational readiness and aligning product delivery with actual usage.

• Tailor the product configuration for clients and markets, focusing on feature availability, limits, thresholds, and parameters.

• Implement and verify fee configurations while maintaining a comprehensive history of changes.

• Manage the configuration of assets and transactions, enabling or disabling flows based on operational or market conditions.

• Collaborate with Compliance to apply jurisdictional and compliance-driven restrictions.

• Monitor transaction performance, the correctness of configurations, and the availability of assets and features.

• Identify anomalies early and escalate them with a detailed assessment of their business impact.

• Uphold configuration governance to ensure all changes are intentional and traceable.

• Work closely with the Head of Product Operations to assume operational ownership of critical processes.

• Develop the operational model for Product Operations from the ground up.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of senior-level experience in operations, product operations, or a similar operational role.

• Required hands-on experience in the crypto or blockchain industry.

• Strong understanding of crypto assets, wallets, transactions, and custody flows in a practical setting.

• Experience with production configuration in regulated environments.

• Proven ability to build processes where none previously existed.

• Skill in prioritizing an operational backlog without the need for close supervision.

• Excellent, structured written communication skills.

• Must be based in the EU and available for fully remote work.

• Familiarity with configuration/feature-flag tooling and BI or dashboarding tools is preferred.

• Exposure to AML/compliance-adjacent workflows is preferred.

• Experience in the payments/banking sector is preferred.

• Background in technical pre-sales or technical product consultancy within a B2B software business is preferred.
