This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee the ticket queue by prioritizing and addressing requests while recognizing recurring categories for automation or deflection.
• Engage in a rotating on-call and incident response schedule, including weekends, while troubleshooting and documenting issues in real time.
• Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards (Tableau, Superset, Grafana) that assess service health, availability, and data quality, highlighting gaps as they arise.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot) to enhance triage, root-cause analysis, scripting, and documentation, while discerning when hands-on judgment is required.
• Write and uphold code in general-purpose programming languages (Python, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, Bash) to streamline operational workflows.
• Collaborate with global stakeholder teams to facilitate issue resolution.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with observability and metrics tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ElasticSearch).
• At least 3 years of experience working with data querying and pipelines (e.g., SQL, Airflow, Trino, SQS).
• Proficient knowledge of network fundamentals and hardware (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
• Practical experience with CI/CD and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions) across AWS, GCP, or Oracle Cloud.
• Comfortable operating in ticket/workflow-driven environments utilizing Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with supporting enterprise SaaS tools (e.g., Salesforce, Workday) and SSO/identity integration (e.g., Okta) is advantageous.
