This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Support employee benefits administration, including renewals, research, and direct assistance to the team.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for a fully remote and geographically diverse team.
• Manage logistics for HR-related matters such as employee transitions and relocations.
• Organize ongoing employee training sessions and help with onboarding and team training materials.
• Oversee team meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, facilitating discussions, and inviting guest participants.
• Aid in the planning and logistics of both in-person and virtual team events.
• Conduct system and internal audits.
• Assist with financial audits and tax submissions.
• Support the administration of performance evaluations.
• Facilitate hiring, onboarding, offboarding, and other HR-related operational processes.
• Provide assistance for sensitive or confidential HR issues.
• Offer IT support, including hardware management, account handling, subscriptions, and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to strategic enhancements in operational and HR workflows and processes.
• Assist with operations and HR research initiatives.
• Help with data entry, data cleanup, recordkeeping, filing, and documentation tasks.
• Collaborate with WattTime departments and external partners to fulfill operational and HR requirements.
• Carry out additional job-related duties and tasks as necessary.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Operations, HR, or Administrative positions.
• Capability to excel in a small-team environment with diverse responsibilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail, processes, and data integrity.
• Proficient in proactive problem-solving, anticipating needs, and managing complex workflows.
• Strong skills in time management and prioritization.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects, competing priorities, and deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Capable of following direction and executing tasks independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Professional and empathetic collaboration with employees, applicants, and external partners.
• Highly motivated and results-driven.
• Team-oriented, collaborative, and respectful approach.
• Competent in working remotely during standard U.S. business hours using tools like Slack, Zoom, GSuite, and others.
• Willingness and capability to travel for team collaborative sessions a few times a year.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS).
• Preferred experience in coordinating employee benefits.
• Preferred experience in developing onboarding and training materials.
• Preferred experience or interest in working within a start-up, tech organization, and/or nonprofit sector.
• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S.; work authorization will be verified through E-Verify after hire and completion of Form I-9.
