This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Assist in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes for personnel within UK & Ireland Operations.
• Aid in the creation and revision of job descriptions for operational roles in the UK.
• Post and disseminate job advertisements effectively.
• Ensure the maintenance of accurate and current applicant records.
• Supervise seasonal operations efficiently.
• Manage relationships with vendors.
• Support operational programs, including those related to transport and logistics.
• Handle bookings and organize schedules.
• Coordinate attractions and transport logistics.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as required.
• Serve as a liaison between UK Operations and other departments.
• Review itineraries and develop a thorough understanding of program specifics.
• Plan and organize activities and excursions.
• Utilize MLA software proficiently.
• Collaborate with Head Office to plan and execute center operations and programs.
• Participate in meetings with the Operational team and Head Office.
• Assist with contracts, booking confirmations, and payments for excursions and transport services.
• Manage the entire recruitment cycle from initial inquiry to confirmed enrollment.
• Qualify leads, provide information about programs, and assist applicants throughout the application process.
• Verify documentation to ensure adherence to visa, safeguarding, and program requirements.
• Advocate for student welfare and provide support for safety and well-being.
• Report any issues impacting student safety, well-being, or performance.
• Monitor relevant fire, health, and safety matters at the MLA center.
• Support MLA’s mission, uphold quality standards, adhere to the code of conduct, and comply with external organization guidelines.
• Must possess a UK passport or have the right to work in the UK.
• Must hold a valid DBS (England & Wales) or PVG (Scotland); candidates residing outside the UK must present a Criminal Record Check from their country of residence.
• Proven ability to work effectively with students under the age of 18.
• At least two professional references required.
• Proficient in IT skills.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Education, International Relations, or a related field is desirable.
• Experience in operations, program coordination, educational services, or international programs is desirable.
• Experience working with students, host institutions, or international partners is desirable.
• Previous experience managing a strict operating budget is desirable.
• Ability to coordinate multiple programs or projects concurrently.
• Strong skills in planning, scheduling, and logistics management.
• Experience in managing databases, documentation, and reporting.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet stringent deadlines.
• Capacity to build excellent relationships with clients and service providers.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to work extended hours in a high-pressure environment.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and capacity to multitask.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace, including Excel, Word, Sheets, and Docs.
• Ability to maintain a pleasant, polite, and cooperative demeanor.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with flexibility for evenings and weekends during peak periods.
• Full-time position requiring 40 hours per week.
