Operations Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Assist in ensuring that high-volume sports content is accurate, timely, professional, and reliable.

• Manage content operations and facilitate workflows during live sports events and other peak publishing times.

• Conduct quality checks on visuals, copy, metadata, links, calls to action, timing, categorization, and brand consistency.

• Identify, articulate, and escalate issues clearly before they escalate into problems for clients or users.

• Prioritize support requests by collecting evidence, identifying probable causes, and communicating the subsequent steps.

• Utilize AI and internal tools to expedite checks, compare information, draft notes, analyze data, and enhance repeatability.

• Ensure clear handovers, incident documentation, support updates, and quality assurance records are maintained.

• Collaborate with content, operations, product, and client-facing teams to resolve issues swiftly and prevent recurrence.

• Enhance checklists, playbooks, templates, and simple automations as you gain insights into practical challenges.

• Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when reviewing text, visuals, links, timing, and structured information.

• High level of agency: if something appears incorrect, vague, or fragile, you address it rather than ignoring it simply because it wasn't assigned to you.

• Proficient written English with the ability to articulate issues calmly, accurately, and without unnecessary drama.

• Dependability and commitment when it comes to live coverage, client support, or content accuracy.

• Strong decision-making skills under pressure.

• Sense of ownership regarding outcomes: you care whether the content, solutions, or support updates are executed successfully.

• An inquisitive mindset towards systems.

• Comfort in using AI and tools to enhance your work while still meticulously checking important details personally.

• High standards: you are not comfortable allowing subpar or inaccurate work to go unnoticed just because others have not identified it yet.

• Interest in sports, media, digital content, SaaS, or live operations.

• Experience in content quality assurance, customer support, live operations, editorial work, proofreading, or moderation (preferred).

• Experience in a fast-paced operational environment (preferred).

• Familiarity with SaaS, sports, media production, CMS tools, or publishing workflows (preferred).
