• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks stemming from internal processes, systems, and external fraud incidents to avert financial loss, reputational harm, and regulatory violations.
• Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs).
• Analyze internal reports.
• Enhance internal controls.
• Perform financial investigations.
• Conduct trade reviews by examining data to detect suspicious patterns indicative of fraud, identity theft, or money laundering.
• Assess risk associated with newly onboarded and existing clients/financial advisors.
• Carry out various KYC checks as required.
• Monitor, identify, and resolve issues related to fraud and identity theft.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate financial transactions, instill a risk-aware culture, and deliver training on best practices.
• Test as an end user for enhancements to processes.
• Extensive knowledge of financial fraud schemes, transaction lifecycles, and identity theft.
• Proficient in conducting transactional analysis and manipulating data.
• Strong understanding of Fraud and KYC processes (CDD, CIP).
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a production environment, while adapting to project work as required.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Prior experience with customer interactions in a financial context.
• Familiarity with various financial user interfaces and transaction monitoring systems.
• Experience with Lexis Nexis RMS is a plus.
• Knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of SQL is beneficial.
• Certifications such as CFE, CAMS, CCCI, or CFCI are preferred.
• The selected candidate will be eligible for an annual incentive opportunity, which may be provided as a combination of cash bonuses and equity awards at the discretion of the Company.
