Operational Intelligence, Data System Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Assist in the continuous development, maintenance, automation, and scaling of a sophisticated operational intelligence and governance analytics platform that is currently in active development.

• Execute and validate Python scripts.

• Process data using SQL.

• Normalize various datasets.

• Ingest and clean CSV files efficiently.

• Oversee folder structure management.

• Validate backup and rollback procedures.

• Provide support for dashboards.

• Assist with Power BI functionalities.

• Ensure output validation through quality assurance processes.

• Verify data lineage effectively.

• Contribute to automation initiatives.

• Document daily system operations and review execution logs.

• Support governance workflows.

• Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical: Strong experience in Python, SQL, and Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with handling CSV files and large datasets.

• Proficiency in the pandas (Python library).

• Familiarity with Power BI or dashboard development.

• Data normalization / ETL experience.

• Discipline in file structure and folder governance.

• Ability to work with extensive operational datasets.

• Capability to adhere to structured naming conventions and workflows.

• Preferred: Familiarity with AI / NLP, operational analytics, automation scripting, data lineage or audit tracking, and experience in healthcare or operations analytics.

• Git/version control familiarity is a plus.

• THIS IS NOT: A website development role, customer service role, social media role, basic VA role, WordPress role, or graphic design role.

• This is closer to: Data systems engineering, operational intelligence support, analytics engineering, pipeline management, and technical operations support.
