Operational Buyer – CCE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the operational procurement and planning of mechanical and electrical components and assemblies to ensure they meet the required quality standards for aircraft installation, including negotiating prices.

• Organizing, releasing, and monitoring production orders, both internal and external.

• Ensuring that design modifications are incorporated during serial production.

• Providing advice and support to internal departments regarding procurement issues.

• Actively monitoring schedules and following up on the procurement of components and assemblies.

• Developing new supplier relationships and serving as the primary contact for technical inquiries.

• Engaging in proactive problem-solving to address procurement bottlenecks and challenges.

• Continuously optimizing planning data, inventory levels, and availability, while proposing improvements to planning processes.

• Participating in various projects as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A technical background, ideally in machining (subtractive metalworking).

• Additional qualifications as a technical purchasing specialist, buyer, or operations specialist.

• Several years of professional experience in operational procurement or planning within a highly regulated environment.

• Proficient in the use of ERP systems.

• Strong spoken and written English communication skills.

• An understanding of and enthusiasm for Lean principles.

• Systemic thinking abilities, strong negotiation skills, and a confident demeanor.
