Operating Room Technical Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Prepare operating rooms in accordance with specialty requirements, including setup and equipment installation.

• Welcome and receive patients upon arrival.

• Position patients for surgery while collaborating with both the surgical and anesthesia teams.

• Facilitate the advancement of surgical procedures by working closely with TSO (operating room technicians), the surgical team, and the anesthesia team.

• Ensure thorough traceability and documentation of the surgical procedure and the instruments utilized.

• Maintain the premises and equipment, demonstrating knowledge and adherence to hygiene and aseptic protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in an operating room is mandatory.

• Versatility across various specialties, including orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, and plastic surgery.

• Capability to prioritize urgent tasks and manage stress effectively.

• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong organizational skills, independence in work, and adaptability.

• ATSSO diploma (certification as an operating room technician) is a valuable asset.
