Online Visiting Professor – Web Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Facilitate student learning by instructing undergraduate and graduate courses in accordance with DeVry University standards.

• Create approved course syllabi, lesson plans, and terminal course objectives.

• Organize, prepare, revise, and update course materials as needed.

• Utilize online technologies and course-related software, including websites, email, and online discussions.

• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication to engage students and enhance learning.

• Establish course expectations, objectives, assignment and examination dates, and evaluation weightings.

• Ensure that exams are in alignment with terminal course objectives.

• Prepare and grade exams consistently and fairly, while providing timely feedback to students.

• Incorporate responsible AI technologies into classroom teaching and learning.

• Identify, assess, and address appropriate and inappropriate use of AI tools by students.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree is required.

• 18 graduate credit hours in the subject area being taught.

• Unofficial graduate-level transcripts must be submitted with the application.

• Degree must be conferred by an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or by an equivalent internationally accredited institution.

• Additional requirements may apply based on state licensing or accreditation considerations.

• Relevant subject matter expertise is essential.

• Exceptional communication skills are necessary.
