This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Instruct undergraduate and graduate courses in the Internet of Things and related disciplines.
• Enhance student learning in alignment with the standards set by DeVry University.
• Create course syllabi and lesson plans that meet course and program objectives.
• Provide approved syllabi that outline terminal course objectives.
• Organize, prepare, update, and refresh course materials.
• Utilize online technologies and course-related software, including websites, email, and online discussions.
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication to engage students and facilitate learning.
• Publish course objectives, assignment and exam dates, along with evaluation weight distributions.
• Ensure that exams are in line with the terminal objectives of the course.
• Consistently and fairly prepare and grade exams.
• Offer timely feedback to students.
• Incorporate responsible AI technologies into classroom teaching and learning.
• Identify, assess, and address appropriate and inappropriate student use of AI tools.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• A master's degree in electrical engineering is required, or a master's degree in a related field with 18 graduate credit hours in Electrical Engineering.
• Preferred certifications include IoTF, CIoTP, CIoTS, AIoTD, CIoTA, CIoTE, or other relevant certifications.
• Submit unofficial graduate-level transcripts with the application.
• The degree must be conferred by an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or by an equivalent internationally accredited institution.
• Additional requirements may be dictated by state licensing or accreditation considerations.
