Online Student Preaching Intern – Asian American, Undergraduate Ministries

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Actively participate and engage with the campus ministry team to establish spiritual vision and direction.

• Contribute to the achievement of the campus ministry team's objectives for spiritual growth and transformation.

• Teach students to embrace, study, and implement Scripture in their daily lives.

• Advocate for the Mission on campus (to develop witnessing communities that are bolder, broader, and more ethnically diverse): Seek opportunities to proclaim and exemplify the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

• Learn to guide chapters (or designated segments of a chapter) in developing strategic approaches to witness at the university.

• Learn to embody and assist students and faculty in deepening their love for God's people across all ethnicities and cultures.

• Encourage a prayerful lifestyle among students, particularly focusing on those who have yet to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.

• Positively engage with the supervision and training provided by your staff ministry trainer and/or director.

• Assist with reporting responsibilities as assigned.

• Serve as an ambassador for InterVarsity to individual ministry partners and churches, through prayer, discussions about ministry efforts, mission, and achievements.

• Perform other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

• A growing passion for evangelism.

• Exhibits campus ministry leadership qualities such as initiative, self-awareness, cultural awareness, effective communication, professionalism, a willingness to learn, cross-cultural competence, teamwork, and relational maturity.
