Online Lecturer, Psychology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide engaging and high-quality online instruction across postgraduate psychology courses.

• Develop and evaluate coursework in accordance with academic benchmarks and best practices.

• Oversee student dissertations, particularly those focusing on quantitative research methodologies.

• Offer pastoral and academic guidance through personal tutoring.

• Cultivate an inclusive and supportive online learning environment.

• Contribute to the teaching of a BPS-accredited program, ensuring all standards and expectations are upheld.

• Collaborate with academic colleagues to enhance the overall student experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• A PhD in Psychology.

• Experience in teaching at the postgraduate higher education level.

• Eligibility for Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (HEA).

• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented collaborative approach.

• Experience teaching within a BPS-accredited program.

• Familiarity with teaching cognitive and/or biological psychology as well as quantitative research methods.

• A proven track record in supervising student dissertations.
