Online Hebrew Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct engaging one-on-one online lessons using Microsoft Teams.

• Foster a supportive and tailored learning atmosphere that enhances student participation, confidence, and achievement.

• Assign tasks and deliver timely feedback on academic performance, homework, and projects.

• Track student progress and ensure accurate grading and academic documentation.

• Communicate professionally and proactively with students, families, and LanguageBird staff as necessary.

• Exhibit reliability, professionalism, and respect in all interactions.

• Engage in required training sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2+ years of experience teaching Hebrew, either online or in a school environment.

• Native-like proficiency in Hebrew is essential.

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• Experience with middle school and/or high school students is preferred.

• Familiarity with educational technology and Microsoft Office applications.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Capacity to work independently in a remote setting while fulfilling deadlines and expectations.

• Availability during evenings in U.S. time zones (PST preferred).
