Online ESL Teacher – Japanese Adult Students

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Provide individualized conversational and assessment-driven English lessons to adult students from Japan.

• Conduct sessions with one student at a time in a well-organized, fully remote environment.

• Each class lasts 25 minutes and emphasizes conversational abilities.

• Adhere to the assigned shift schedule, including breaks between lessons.

• Opportunity to take on extra classes in case of teacher absences.

• Interact with students who actively select your classes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of a 3-year National Diploma.

• Completed and accredited 120-hour TEFL certificate or its equivalent.

• At least 1 year of experience in ESL teaching.

• A demo lesson is required as part of the application procedure.

• Capable of teaching English across all CEFR proficiency levels — from complete beginners to advanced learners.

• Energetic, student-centered, and comfortable with online teaching.

• Schedule-aware and adaptable: you are responsible for understanding your shift and responding to any changes.

• Strong and effective communication skills.

• Patience and empathy towards learners of all levels.

• A positive demeanor and a professional presence.

• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
