This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Oversee operations within designated Community Oncology and Health Systems accounts
• Drive alignment and implement best practices across various regions through account and sales strategies
• Position products favorably on customer formularies or contracts
• Collaborate with Account Managers nationwide to manage pull-through sales and customer accounts
• Build and nurture high-level relationships with executive management and key decision-makers
• Evaluate contracting opportunities, profitability, and overall business impact
• Facilitate client-account discussions while ensuring contract implementation and adherence
• Contribute to the development of contracting templates and customer guidelines
• Formulate product strategies for both promoted and contracted oncology products
• Enhance product access, utilization, and maintenance plans
• Conduct thorough competitive analysis
• Create and lead tailored pull-through and sell-through sales strategies
• Provide counsel to Sales and Marketing executive management regarding contract terms
• Manage expectations of customers and the sales force
• Foster relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Support strategic alliance partners within targeted accounts
• Coordinate corporate resources while evaluating funding and staffing needs for account goals
• Share account-specific and global trade information throughout AbbVie
• Offer guidance to field sales, account management, and franchise teams
• Assess and cultivate business relationships with key clients
• Identify new customers and organizations that may influence AbbVie’s business
• A Bachelor's Degree is required
• A minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales
• At least 8 years of combined total experience
• Sales management experience is advantageous
• Experience in Sales and/or Marketing within Oncology is beneficial
• Account management experience is a plus
• Capability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment
• A valid driver's license is necessary
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test
• Must meet safe driving standards
• Must fulfill applicable healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements for assigned facilities and organizations
• Must maintain good standing and/or be eligible to obtain required HCIR credentials
• May be required to undergo background checks, drug screenings, proof of immunizations/vaccinations, fingerprinting, and state- or city-specific licenses
