This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Oversee operations within targeted Community Oncology and Health Systems accounts.
• Direct the alignment of account and sales strategies along with best practices across various regions.
• Secure product placements on customer formularies or contracts in favorable or equal standing.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to manage pull-through sales and all customer accounts.
• Foster high-level relationships with executive management and key decision-makers.
• Evaluate contracting opportunities, profitability, and overall impact.
• Facilitate client-account discussions, ensuring contract execution and adherence.
• Create contracting templates and customer guidelines.
• Keep track of competitive strategies and perform competitive analyses.
• Formulate product strategies for promoted and contracted oncology products.
• Spearhead tailored pull-through and sell-through sales strategies.
• Counsel Sales and Marketing executive management on contract terms.
• Manage expectations of both customers and the sales force.
• Nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist strategic alliance partners and company-wide initiatives.
• Coordinate corporate resources with account objectives.
• Share account-specific and global trade information throughout AbbVie.
• Provide guidance to field sales, account management, and franchise teams.
• Cultivate business relationships, identify new customers, and improve product positioning and sales effectiveness.
• Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
• At least 8 years of combined professional experience.
• Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Capability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
• Must meet safe driving standards.
• Must comply with applicable healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements.
• Must be in good standing and/or eligible to acquire necessary HCIR credentials.
• Ability to meet credentialing prerequisites including background checks, drug screens, proof of immunizations/vaccinations, fingerprinting, and state- or city-specific licenses.
• An advanced degree is optional but advantageous.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in sales management is a plus.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in oncology sales and/or marketing is an advantage.
• 3 to 4 years of account management experience is beneficial.
