This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Deliver scientific insights and effectively present and promote AbbVie products to office-based and hospital specialists, adhering to §76 of the German Medicines Act (AMG) regarding the responsibilities of Pharmaceutical Representatives.
• Execute the brand strategy effectively.
• Perform market analysis using available data: assess the regional market concerning the sales performance of own products and competitors, while identifying opportunities and critical trends.
• Create, coordinate, and implement a territory plan in collaboration with the infield team.
• Provide exceptional customer management by actively advising physicians, pharmacists, and, when appropriate, healthcare organizations.
• Plan, organize, and conduct continuing education events while participating in regional and national events.
• Foster and enhance networks among hospitals, office-based physicians, and other key stakeholders involved in patient care.
• Gather market intelligence and customer insights; assess the customer’s position within the sales cycle.
• Maintain proactive communication with the Regional Manager.
• Ensure professional reporting by completing all administrative tasks timely and accurately.
• Collaborate effectively within the infield team and across various functions.
• Encourage open communication and the ongoing exchange of experiences and ideas.
• Actively and continuously advocate for customer needs.
• Share accountability for achieving regional objectives.
• Adhere to all relevant functional, legal, and regulatory requirements, including procedures and policies on ethics and compliance, as well as the “Code of Business Conduct.”
• A university degree in a scientific field, pharmaceutical representative training, or the necessary expertise as per §75 of the German Medicines Act.
• Fundamental knowledge of GxP.
• Experience working in an infield team and leading interdisciplinary projects within a matrix organization.
• Comprehensive understanding of the therapy area.
• Several years of field sales experience in the pharmaceutical sector, demonstrating above-average sales success, preferably within the therapy area.
• Proficiency in presenting complex scientific topics appropriately for the target audience and engaging in discussions with various customer groups.
• Strong persuasion abilities, confident presentation skills with a robust closing capacity, and excellent communication skills (Challenger methodology).
• High adaptability to evolving market conditions and a proactive, innovative approach to work methods.
• High motivation and energy to pursue and achieve set targets.
• Excellent performance management skills to continually enhance sales target achievement.
• Strong digital proficiency and adeptness in using field applications (Veeva CRM and CLM, XPM, WebEx, etc.) as well as MS Office.
