This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.
β’ Develop and implement the Medical strategy and engagement for designated customers within a specific territory, ensuring compliance while collaborating with other Pfizer colleagues as necessary to achieve Medical goals.
β’ Maintain an essential level of knowledge regarding relevant therapeutic areas and disease states, as well as Pfizer products, offering therapeutic area/product information to both internal and external stakeholders as required.
β’ Act as a key resource for Medical Information and customer insights, supplying requested information to healthcare professionals in accordance with Pfizer guidelines and relaying customer perspectives back to Pfizer when appropriate.
β’ Grasp the priorities of Pfizer Medical Affairs to aid in the development of Medical content strategy and implement aligned Field Medical tactics.
β’ Ensure effective communication and collaboration with headquarters Medical colleagues, Medical Information, and other Pfizer Field Medical colleagues.
β’ Exhibit proficiency in communication across various channels, including live and virtual presentations in both small and large settings, written communication, and telephone or virtual discussions.
β’ Enhance the patient-centricity of Medical communications and deliverables, applying Health Literacy and cultural awareness principles to ensure that patients remain the primary focus.
β’ MD or DO Degree is mandatory.
β’ A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required.
β’ Recognized subject matter expert among both internal and external stakeholders.
β’ Exhibit a range of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities, including the ability to influence and collaborate with peers to create business impact.
β’ Showcase outstanding oral and written communication skills.
β’ Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills: capable of understanding and responding to the demands of multiple internal and external customers while managing and resolving conflicts constructively.
β’ Oversee a significant number of projects developed in a remote environment, demonstrating the ability to prioritize effectively, successfully implement plans, exercise excellent judgment, and thrive in a continuous improvement setting.
β’ Collaborate within a matrixed, multi-disciplinary team to cultivate strong professional relationships with Pfizer and customers that align with Pfizer Medical objectives.
β’ Effectively navigate and lead through change within a constantly evolving external healthcare landscape.
β’ Exhibit change agility; be open to new opportunities (e.g., new therapeutic areas) and adaptable to organizational transformations.
β’ Solve problems and network across the enterprise as needed to identify solutions.
β’ Quickly adopt and utilize new digital technologies and other resources when engaging with medical customers and documenting medical interactions.
