Oncology Data Specialist – Apprentice

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The full-time position of Registry Apprentice is perfect for newly certified ODS-Cs who lack abstracting experience and would benefit from personalized mentoring and training.

• In this role, you will receive exceptional support and education from Savista’s Cancer and Clinical Registry Services Division’s (CCRS) Education and Quality Assurance (QA) team, who are committed to your success.

• You will have direct access to and support from CCRS Education and QA while completing all assignments in the training program.

• Enhance your abstracting knowledge and skills with assurance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be ODS-certified.

• Should have less than 6 months of abstracting experience OR over 6 months of experience but have worked with fewer than 5 primary sites.

• A passing score on the Registry Apprentice pre-employment assessment is required.

• Familiarity with the use and application of standard cancer registry manuals and resources is necessary.

• Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms.

• Experience with various email and business software applications is essential.

• A genuine desire to learn in a systematic and collaborative manner is expected.
