This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Oversee a designated territory and establish trusted relationships with oncology care teams.
• Develop and implement territory business strategies aimed at enhancing patient access and achieving measurable outcomes.
• Cultivate and sustain connections with oncologists, specialty pharmacists, nurse navigators, and institutional accounts.
• Identify primary prescribers and accounts, leveraging resources to address their needs and priorities.
• Collaborate with medical affairs, market access, commercial operations, and other cross-functional teams.
• Utilize customer insights and data to prioritize initiatives, establish goals, and assess performance.
• Assist in launches and local promotional efforts through organized, compliant field programs.
• Travel frequently within the designated territory and occasionally beyond it.
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from an accredited institution.
• At least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biologic, specialty sales, or clinical oncology, with direct engagement with physicians or institutions.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and capability to drive within the assigned territory; driving is a key function of the role.
• Reside within the assigned territory.
• Willingness to travel within the territory and occasionally beyond, which may involve overnight stays and weekend conferences.
• Expected travel of up to 30-50% depending on territory requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, emphasizing the ability to build trusted relationships and influence without direct authority.
• A minimum of two years of experience in oncology or specialty sales, with a preference for health system or institutional account experience.
• Familiarity with hematology or solid tumor therapies.
• Experience with infusion products.
• Knowledge of specialty pharmacy, payer engagement, or account-based strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute territory plans and achieve measurable objectives.
• Strong organizational skills and the capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills suitable for both internal and external stakeholders.
