Onboarding Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Capable of overseeing and delivering multiple complex programs simultaneously, such as major clients or implementing various business lines.

• Accountable for guiding and advising customers through a digital transformation initiative utilizing the Salesforce platform and the nCino Bank Operating System.

• Organize and allocate program resources, provide burn summaries, track progress, and keep stakeholders updated.

• Propel the nCino unified platform vision and its adoption across the entire customer organization, from executives to individual contributors.

• Build relationships with both technology partners and key internal stakeholders.

• Collaborate with the product management team and senior leadership to help prioritize product improvements that influence roadmap strategies, revenue generation, and customer retention.

• Act as the primary escalation point for nCino project delivery issues in partnership with nCino leadership.

• Collaborate with the nCino implementation team, which includes Banking, Configuration, Integration, and Product Development Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), to delineate the work breakdown and specific tasks.

• Employ an Agile methodology to evaluate a customer's current state, define the future state, and identify gaps along with potential obstacles and risks.

• Examine current and future state data, technical applications, and business architecture requirements; adjust and validate the implementation plan based on customer feedback and ongoing customer programs.

• Assist customers in user acceptance testing of the nCino Bank Operating System and provide training on methodologies that include streamlining, simplifying, and automating tasks.

• Offer regular updates to the executive sponsor and internal nCino senior leadership on the status of each customer's program delivery, highlighting achievements against established business metrics.

• Provide Subject Matter Expertise concerning lending and banking environments.

• Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations.

• Cultivate a broad understanding of cross-organizational programs and operations across nCino solutions and their alignment with Financial Institutions' operating processes.

• Advise on program management processes, best practices, and methodologies within the program teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in the financial industry is mandatory; particularly in commercial or SBA lending, along with familiarity with banking terminology and processes.

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience or a combination of education, experience, and outstanding performance.

• Knowledge of Salesforce AppExchange is essential.

• Experience managing senior-level relationships and building high-value business partnerships with complementary software companies.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and coordinate internal resources.

• Exceptional communication skills paired with an innovative problem-solving approach.

• Familiarity with project management tools, agile methodologies, and strategies is required.

• Proven capability to interact and communicate with customers professionally, positively, and constructively; comfortable with public speaking and leading meetings.

• Ability and enthusiasm for rapid and independent learning.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize daily tasks, projects, and workloads to meet program schedules.

• Analytical mindset; capable of observing a client’s current process and assessing how the nCino product can provide benefits.

• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

• Competence in presenting and explaining program-specific information to diverse audiences.

• Strong capability to define and document business and functional requirements, including business process maps ("As-Is/To-Be") flows and diagrams.

• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.com or systems built on relational databases is preferred.

• Previous managerial and project management experience is advantageous.
