On-Call Roving Producer, Writer – 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist city teams in creating intelligent and engaging editorial content for their podcast, newsletter, and social media platforms.

• Identify relevant and timely ideas for daily podcast, social media, and newsletter content.

• Compose the daily newsletter on designated days with an engaging tone, humor, clarity, and relevance.

• Prepare for podcast discussions alongside the host and Executive Producer.

• Edit podcast episodes using Descript.

• Create advertisements to be featured in podcast episodes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in creating and/or editing editorial content.

• Proven experience in a deadline-oriented editorial setting.

• Exceptional writing abilities with a distinct, captivating voice.

• Familiarity with Descript or a willingness to learn the software.

• Highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in producing and editing videos for social media is advantageous.

• Important: To qualify for this position, you must be located in and authorized to work within the United States.
