This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee daily administration, configuration, and support of the Okta platform, which includes managing user lifecycles, application integrations, and authentication policies.
• Identify and resolve ICAM-related incidents, service requests, and issues promptly while adhering to established service level agreements (SLAs).
• Configure and maintain Okta functionalities such as Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Universal Directory, Lifecycle Management, and API Access Management.
• Integrate Okta with enterprise applications, directories, and external services utilizing SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC) protocols.
• Assist with the onboarding and offboarding processes of users and applications within the Okta environment.
• Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and proactively identify and address potential issues within the ICAM ecosystem.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure that IAM configurations align with federal security standards and frameworks, including NIST guidelines and Zero Trust principles.
• Contribute to the creation and upkeep of technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and runbooks pertaining to ICAM and Okta operations.
• Engage in change management processes, including the planning, testing, and implementation of modifications to the Okta environment.
• Assist with audits and compliance reviews by supplying relevant access reports and configuration documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and incorporate new Okta features and capabilities that align with mission objectives.
• Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for escalated identity and access management challenges.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline from an accredited institution; equivalent professional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in administering and supporting Okta or a similar Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform.
• Active Secret Clearance is mandatory.
• Relevant Okta certification(s) are required (e.g., Okta Certified Administrator, Okta Certified Professional, or Okta Certified Consultant).
• Excellent communication skills in English – both written and verbal – with the capability to effectively engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Practical experience managing the Okta platform, including SSO, MFA, Universal Directory, Lifecycle Management, and Okta Workflows.
• Solid understanding of identity federation protocols such as SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
• Experience integrating Okta with Active Directory (AD) and/or LDAP environments.
• Familiarity with ICAM frameworks, principles, and federal identity management standards (e.g., NIST SP 800-63, FICAM).
• Proven experience supporting users and applications within a ticketing/ITSM environment (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
• Ability to analyze and interpret system logs for diagnosing and resolving access and authentication challenges.
• Experience with the deployment and management of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) policies.
• Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture principles and their relevance to identity and access management.
• Capability to create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.
