This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont.
• Take charge of the commercial success of a specified medical market segment, focusing on revenue growth, customer retention, pipeline development, and market expansion.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of designated markets, encompassing customer applications, industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with engineering, product management, clinical, procurement, and executive stakeholders among OEM customers.
• Identify, assess, and promote new programs, product platforms, and strategic growth avenues within current and potential customers.
• Develop and sustain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned with market growth goals.
• Formulate and implement account and market growth strategies that enhance NDI's involvement across customer programs, business units, and product roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Applications Engineering teams to convert market insights into commercial prospects.
• Lead pricing negotiations, actively engage in commercial discussions, and establish long-term partnership agreements.
• Advocate for the voice of the customer and the market internally to inform business and product strategies.
• Ensure compliance by adhering to relevant regulatory and quality standards, safeguarding product integrity and patient safety in a global medical device context.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
• Over 6 years of experience in technical sales, business development, strategic account management, product management, applications engineering, or similar customer-facing roles.
• Proven track record in generating new business opportunities while enhancing existing customer relationships.
• Experience with technically complex products or solutions in the medical devices, healthcare technology, robotics, navigation, imaging, or OEM sectors.
• Direct experience with medical device OEM customers is highly desirable.
• Strong technical aptitude to engage effectively with engineering and product development teams.
• Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales and product development landscapes.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, qualify, and advance opportunities from initial engagement through to commercialization.
• Strong business acumen, relationship management, negotiation, and strategic planning capabilities.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
