This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
β’ Create and implement a strategic sales plan for your territory to enhance existing OEM accounts while discovering and securing new business opportunities.
β’ Identify, qualify, and engage potential customers through networking, referrals, cold calling, site visits, and technical sales presentations.
β’ Leverage your mobile fluid power and hydraulic application knowledge to suggest engineered solutions that enhance customer performance, productivity, and reliability.
β’ Establish trusted relationships with OEM engineering, operations, purchasing, and leadership teams to become their preferred fluid power partner.
β’ Work closely with skilled customer service, engineering, and technical support teams to provide exceptional customer solutions and surpass sales targets.
β’ Efficiently manage your territory using CRM, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and various sales tools to prioritize opportunities, monitor activities, and predict business outcomes.
β’ Stay updated on mobile hydraulic technologies, products, and market trends to identify new opportunities and offer value-added recommendations.
β’ A two- or four-year technical degree is preferred, focusing on Engineering, Fluid Power, Hydraulics, Industrial Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be taken into account.
β’ At least 2 years of experience in outside sales selling mobile fluid power or hydraulic components, systems, or solutions to OEM manufacturers.
β’ Proven understanding of mobile hydraulic systems, including products like pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, hoses & fittings, filtration, manifolds, or similar fluid power components.
β’ Experience in providing product application support, troubleshooting, and engineered hydraulic solutions.
β’ Preferred experience in value-added industrial distribution or engineered solutions sales.
β’ Fluid Power Certification is advantageous.
β’ Demonstrated ability to cultivate enduring customer relationships and consistently increase sales.
β’ Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software.
β’ A valid driver's license is required.
β’ Willingness to travel overnight as necessary within the assigned territory.
