Occupational Therapist – Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Performing thorough initial assessments to evaluate client suitability for telehealth and VR-supported services

• Providing evidence-based Occupational Therapy interventions that align with client objectives

• Assisting children and adolescents with functional skills, emotional regulation, confidence, social engagement, independence, and overall wellbeing

• Engaging with neurodiverse clients and their families in a person-centred, strengths-focused manner

• Tracking and documenting client progress according to professional and clinical standards

• Creating assessment reports, progress updates, and summaries for families, referrers, and other stakeholders

• Collaborating with families, caregivers, and other professionals to facilitate meaningful outcomes

• Upholding professional registration and practice standards in accordance with AHPRA requirements

⛳️ Requirements

• A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy

• Full registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist

• At least three years of clinical experience

• Experience or a strong interest in paediatric Occupational Therapy

• Experience working with children, adolescents, and neurodiverse clients

• Understanding of the NDIS framework and goal-oriented therapy approaches

• A Medicare Provider Number, Working With Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or a willingness to obtain these

• Exceptional communication and documentation skills

• Full working rights in Australia
