Occupational Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, and functional capabilities

• Create personalized treatment strategies

• Administer hands-on therapy aimed at enhancing daily living skills, mobility, and independence

• Execute therapeutic exercises, training in adaptive equipment, and modifications to the environment

• Educate patients and their families on managing conditions and optimizing independence and quality of life

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care

• Accurately and promptly document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes

• Keep abreast of the latest research and developments in the field of occupational therapy

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care within patients' homes

⛳️ Requirements

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Florida

• At least 6 months of experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or rehabilitation environment

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking abilities

• Strong work ethic and dependability

• Dedication to delivering quality care

• Reliable transportation for home visits
