This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
β’ Utilize proprietary tools to label and assess data.
β’ Assist in delivering meticulously curated high-quality data.
β’ Collaborate with engineers to enhance tasks, tools, and workflows.
β’ Create, select, and refine tasks based on practical occupational mathematics, including:
β’ Offer comprehensive, step-by-step solutions and assess model responses for accuracy, compliance with domain regulations (e.g., tax codes, building codes, fundamental regulatory or business constraints), clarity, and feasibility.
β’ Interpret, analyze, and carry out tasks according to provided instructions.
β’ A Master's or PhD in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a closely related field with solid training in applied or occupational mathematics;
β’ A Bachelor's degree in one of the aforementioned fields, accompanied by significant professional experience (e.g., 2+ years) in a math-intensive occupational area such as finance, banking, insurance, accounting, logistics/supply chain, healthcare analytics, or policy analysis.
β’ Professional licensure or certification in a skilled trade (e.g., licensed surveyor, master electrician, journeyman machinist) demonstrating expertise in trade-specific mathematical computations.
β’ Strong competence in applied mathematics pertinent to at least one of the specified domains (e.g., probability and statistics, financial mathematics, optimization under constraints, geometric and measurement calculations, or similar).
β’ Proficient in both informal and professional English reading and writing.
β’ Exceptional ability to navigate diverse information resources and databases.
β’ Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
β’ Strong reading comprehension abilities coupled with the capability to exercise independent judgment even with limited data/material.
