Occupational Health Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist in the expansion of a vibrant occupational health business while ensuring outstanding clinical performance.

• Foster robust working relationships with the HR and Health and Safety teams.

• Deliver health surveillance in accordance with HSE guidelines and client-specific requirements.

• Perform health surveillance and medical assessments, including evaluations for fitness to work in safety-critical roles.

• Meticulously complete administrative tasks as necessary to uphold Occupational Health records and reports.

• Ensure Health Surveillance is performed within designated timelines, which includes scheduling appointments and coordinating with managers to facilitate attendance.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current legislation and best practices related to Occupational Health matters.

• Engage in networking learning opportunities and pursue updates on clinical advancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as an Occupational Health Technician.

• Skilled in conducting Health Surveillance, including audiometry, spirometry, skin assessments, and HAVs monitoring.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Experience in collecting samples for drug and alcohol testing using chain of custody protocols is preferred.

• Ability to collaborate closely and effectively with health and safety professionals and our occupational health partners to deliver an efficient and cost-effective service to our clients.

• Capability to identify critical health issues and report them as necessary.

• Proficient in prioritizing workload and utilizing experience and initiative to manage programs, such as Health Surveillance scheduling.

• Willingness to travel between sites when required.

• Proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Office and Excel software.
