This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the integrity and consistency of OASIS documentation and assessment procedures.

• Conduct prospective reviews of all OASIS assessments to verify their appropriateness, completeness, and adherence to federal and state regulations as well as agency policies.

• Leverage OASIS variation or alert reports when analyzing OASIS data.

• Collaborate with relevant clinical personnel to resolve any data integrity concerns and assist clinicians in making necessary adjustments in accordance with agency policies.

• Assess visit utilization against care guidelines and patient conditions; report any potential financial losses or underutilization to the Coding and OASIS Manager, Clinical Manager, and/or their designee.

• Inform the Coding and OASIS Manager, Clinical Manager, and/or their designee of any troubling trends identified through OASIS reviews.

• Engage in Quality Improvement and Corporate Compliance initiatives as assigned.

• Support additional chart audit tasks as required.

• Enhance professional and technical knowledge by participating in educational workshops and reviewing industry publications.

• Comprehend and exhibit CAPLICO values.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient understanding of the OASIS process.

• Familiarity with federal regulations and state licensure prerequisites for home health services.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while also being collaborative within an interdisciplinary team.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong computer proficiency to effectively utilize Microsoft Outlook and agency systems.

• Knowledge of the legal and regulatory landscape governing the home health sector.

• Valid Driver’s License, vehicle insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle or public transportation.

• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical, coding, or billing experience in home health.

• OASIS certification (COS-C).
