NX CAD Programmer, Customization Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain custom applications utilizing NX Open (C#, VB.NET)

• Create custom menus, dialogs, and UI components leveraging Block Styler and NX Open UI APIs

• Build NXOpen custom applications that are integrated with Teamcenter

• Develop Checkmate tools

• Automate repetitive CAD tasks and enhance NX’s inherent functionalities

• Seamlessly integrate NX with PLM systems like Teamcenter via SOA/ITK for efficient data transfer

• Diagnose and resolve NX customization challenges

• Ensure compliance with coding standards

• Generate technical documentation and provide user assistance

• Collaborate with engineering, PLM, CAD, and engineering teams to collect requirements and deliver customized solutions

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–7+ years of experience in CAD customization, with a minimum of 2–3 years in NX Open development

• Extensive knowledge of NX Open API (Common API, Wrapped/Unwrapped UFUNC)

• Expertise in C# (.NET), VB, or C/C++

• Familiarity with NX Open, Journaling, UFUNC, and associated frameworks

• Understanding of HTML/XML data processing and scripting

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC processes

• Strong grasp of 3D/2D parametric CAD and expression management

• Experience in surface modeling and CAD/CAE customization

• Exposure to PLM integration (Teamcenter)

• Proficient programming abilities

• Strong mathematical capabilities, especially in geometry
