Nutrition Educator – Licensed Registered Dietician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Conduct telephonic nutrition education sessions tailored to each member/patient; the number of sessions provided varies based on the specific program the member/patient is enrolled in.

• Record goals and care plans derived from education sessions in the designated platform.

• Arrange follow-up calls with each member/patient.

• Create nutrition education handouts and tools as required.

• Identify and recommend community resources for clients when necessary.

• Stay updated with professional knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities, reading relevant publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.

• Assist in the creation of social media content and videos for articles, blogs, and other entries for the company newsletter and website as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science or Dietetics.

• Certification as a Registered Dietitian through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of residence (where required).

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in providing nutrition education or counseling.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficient in using standard office equipment, including laptops, computers, and smartphones.

• Capable of working independently with a strong sense of responsibility in executing job duties with minimal daily supervision.

• Ability to make clinical decisions regarding the suitability of nutrition education for each member/patient.
