This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Takes charge of ensuring the peak performance of the medical review division, consistently monitoring and analyzing performance metrics to uncover opportunities for process and procedural enhancements.
• Assists and supports the Director of Medical Operations in the administration of contracts and oversees the daily activities of clinical teams.
• Supervises teams to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
• Collaborates across departments to prioritize compliance initiatives and address regulatory obligations.
• Implements strategies to reduce potential risks to program integrity.
• Ensures adherence to best practices to uphold and improve the quality of nursing activities, aligning with established standards and guidelines.
• Engages with government and law enforcement stakeholders as necessary.
• Independently evaluates existing nursing processes for efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.
• Works with other departments, stakeholders, and external organizations to maintain a holistic approach to program integrity and patient care.
• Collaborates closely with the Supervisor of Clinical Review’s staff to manage workload, ensuring the timely and quality delivery of services.
• Keeps precise documentation of nursing program activities and generates regular reports on metrics concerning program integrity, compliance status, and quality.
• Educates nursing staff on compliance and integrity issues, ensuring their understanding and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Provides job-specific orientation and training as necessary.
• Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback and the formal performance review process to ensure exceptional service delivery, engagement, motivation, and team development.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience is required; 8 to 11 years is preferred.
• Current, active, and unrestricted RN licensure is required.
• Coding certification is preferred.
